This episode focuses on and salutes the brave women and men who served in the military and are alive, they're our veterans. Paul Lawrence Vann is a veteran having served over 20 years in the USAF.

Veterans Day was originally named Armistice Day on November 11, 1919, which was the first anniversary of the end of World War I. Congress passed a resolution in 1926 for an annual observance, and November 11 became a national holiday beginning in 1938.

Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans living or dead but especially gives thanks to living veterans who served their country honorably during war or peacetime.

  1. 18.8 million living veterans served during at least one war as of 2018.
  2. None percent of veterans are women.
  3. Seven million veterans served during the Vietnam War.
  4. Three million veterans have served in support of the War on Terrorism.
  5. Of the 16 million Americans who served during World War 11, about 325,000 were still alive as of 2020.
  6. Two million veterans served during the Korean War.
  7. The top three states with the highest percentage of Veterans were Virginia, Wyoming, and Alaska.

Salute a veteran and thank them for their service. Freedom is not free and can only be sustained through vigilance and a commitment by those who believe in their country.
