031 | More Than Yes And ft. Eric Farone
Manage episode 293205757 series 2828676
A few years back I tackled my human project of learning the art of comedy. I took a wonderful series of classes at the Bovine Metropolis Theater in Denver, Colorado and wound up performing improv! I went on to study stand-up, and I debuted on the Bovine stage. And while learning improv and stand-up was a super-fun and enriching experience, it is how I learned to apply those lessons in different ways that has made the most impact – in my career, in my relationships, in my human projects.
I recently sat down with one of the founders of the Bovine, Eric Farone. Eric is an improv director with decades of successful experience in getting improv groups to work at the highest levels. In 1996 Eric, along with his partner Denise Maes, opened the Bovine Metropolis Theater in Denver. The theater was the largest improv training center in the Rocky Mountain region for over 20 years. Currently Eric is a partner at Apixii ~ Applied Improvisation where he now focuses on getting professionals, groups and teams to be more improvisational in their approaches. Listen in as we chat comedy, life and pushing back!
