This debut episode opens by talking about why hike at all. This is my why. Backpacking has given me so much. More than the excitement, and it is exciting, there is something else. More than the challenges, and it is challenging, I am motivated by a different call. There is healing on the trail. Yes, there is physical healing. I believe hiking has allow my doctor to take me off all of my diabetes medications. Still, there is a different healing benefit. Emotional healing is a great blessing of the trail! I feel peace when I hike. I want you to find health too. Let’s talk about it. Today’s episode looks at what calls me to the trail.
