Imagine an approach and tool that helps students not just only focusing on their grades, but really see and develop their strengths and socio-emotional skills and creating a positive educational impact in the process. Well, such a tool exists! Meet ‘See the Good’. A concept developed by Dr. Kaisa Vuorinen from the University of Helsinki. On October 3rd, Kaiso, also CEO/Founder of Positive Learning Ltd., delivered a keynote address on the subject during the Kunskapsskolan Community Event in the Dutch city of Utrecht. With some 550 educational professionals from Dutch Kunskapsskolan Partner-schools in the audience. Of course, Schoolpraat couldn’t resist the opportunity to talk to Dr. KaisaVuorinen and to explore the potential of ‘See the Good’ within the Dutch educational environment. Together with Annemieke Schutte, director of education at VeenLanden College and Madeleine Zwart, school leader of Van Kinsbergen college and the new co-host of the Schoolpraat podcast series.
