#107: Bryce and Liz are back this week to discuss a topic that carries both positive effects and negative drawbacks: social media. If the opposite of addiction is connection, then social media can be a tool to connect us, like it connected Bryce to this podcast. For Liz, social media is how she discovered The Phoenix, as well as other recovery communities and yoga spaces.
But just as social media can be positive, it can also negatively impact our mental health and become an escape. To that, Bryce reminds us of the "power to click" and allowing yourself to pause. Check out the episode to hear from Liz and Bryce as they dive into this topic and more, including:

  • Bryce's experience working through some recent anxiety, and the beauty he witnessed after sitting through it.
  • The moments of lightness and joy that lead us to make a change. For Liz, this moment was on the yoga mat.
  • The gift of pause in recovery and filling the void with things that will make you feel better.
