Have you ever said to yourself, "this is NOT how I pictured this going." While I feel we make the manger story look cute for this holiday season, it is a story where all Mary and Joseph were thinking is: this is NOT how I thought this would be. Yet, despite HOW it all happened, God reminded them that they were on the right track. That God was still with them. And that now the world will know of this Messiah.
What is your manger story? I'm sure there are one million different ways the story could have gone, but my prayer is that regardless of how your story looks that you will know without a shadow of a doubt that this season is where our 'Emmanuel' was born. The 'God WITH us' stepped down from heaven so that He can be with you now. God whispers to you today, it is all going to be okay.
