This was a brand new variety to me and I was so intrigued to learn more and impressed once I tasted it. In fact, I took a bottle to a wine professional event and it was the hit of the evening! We had the pleasure of interviewing Jim Quarella and Larry Coia from Bellview Winery in New Jersey. These are the guys not only responsible for bringing the vines to the United States, but for naming the variety!
