Bambi Lynn joins us this week for a story of redemption against all the odds. Bambi endured some horrific abuse, from her mother and her father, her uncle, and various partners. It’s harrowing at times, and no one should have to go through what Bambi has been through. Although tough to hear, this is a story of triumph over trauma, a raw and gritty tale that plays out like a bleak and hard to watch movie. The ending however, is one of light, from the darkness. It took Bambi thirty-two years to except her name that she was given, but now she says her name with pride. Ever since her 7th grade teacher told her she had a gift to write, she has never stopped. And now she has her first published book and many more to come
