It takes a village and a holistic approach to wellness to really make an impact. Dr. Hall-Long and Keith Warren interview 2019 Lt. Governor's Challenge Winner Newark Charter School about their overall wellness program for staff. The teachers embraced the idea of holistic wellness and changed their work world. From a weekly “Mindful Minute” to food preparation ideas, they introduced programs that were easy to implement and maintain. Improved comradery, emotional and behavioral wellness are just some of the excellent outcomes of this fabulous initiative.
