The reason why I began making my own dog food was due to canned dog food recalls, about a decade ago. At the time, we were ‘cat people.’ So when a stray dog wandered onto our property and after discovering she was simply left to fend for herself, we gladly took her in. And so began the making of this delicious, nutritious homemade Chicken Chow.
