Welcome to the latest episode of the Stupid Sequels Podcast! Our guest is Alex and we are reviewing Lion King 1 1/2. In a first for our podcast we have back to back episodes hosted by the same guest. Listen in as we dissect the zoological accuracy of a children’s movie, get distracted by our own 2 lion kings and introduce you to your favorite new show. We both enjoy Disney’s attempt at absurdist theatre complete with an omnipotent remote control and more fourth wall breaks then you can count. ?We find truly terrible movies and give them all the attention they don’t deserve. ?Each episode we’ll discuss exactly what made such a horrible sequel from casting to budget to just plain bad writing. While we all love a great movie there’s something just a little more fun about watching a seriously stupid sequel. Now while there are plenty of awful sequels out there we have a few guidelines about the kind of movies we’ll be reviewing. We’re talking about direct to video, made for tv, never appeared in a theatre sequels. The ones the studios gave up on before they even started. Our logo is designed by Nicole Wiseman @NicWise.
