Kellie Rixon is the founder and CEO of Rixon Associates. She is a culture specialist and helps organisations facilitate change through their people. Kellie has been in the hospitality industry her whole career and has done every job in the sector from running pubs, bars and restaurants to regional management and training roles before moving into HR. She has sat on boards of DeVere Hotels, Macdonald Hotels and Cirrus Inns, is a fellow of the institute of hospitality, has been on the board of the Institute for the past 5 years and is in her 4th year as Chair of the board.
In 2012, Kellie was awarded an MBE for services to hospitality for the ground-breaking work of the DeVere Academy of Hospitality which saw almost 13,000 young people train and build their skills and knowledge to succeed in hospitality.
