Jo Wimble-Groves is the co-owner of Active Digital, an award-winning mobile telecommunications company.
A self-confessed ‘accidental entrepreneur’, Jo put her hand up and took an opportunity to run a business with her brother at just sixteen years old, dropping out of sixth form college at the same time. Since then, the company has grown to become a multimillion business, one of the leading partners of Virgin Media O2 across the whole of UK and Ireland and one of only 9 Apple partners across the UK.

Jo regularly spends time visiting schools and universities to share her story, with the aim of inspiring the next generation of female entrepreneurs. In March 2019, Jo was one of 100 women to be invited to No.10 Downing Street to meet the Prime Minister on International Women’s Day.

Joe is the creator of the Guilty Mother blog, a parenting and lifestyle blog now followed by over 50,000 people worldwide, and the author of Rise of the Girl - Seven Empowering Conversations to have with your Daughter.” Jo is passionate about creating a world where we can achieve great things.
