Before people get too committed to arguing on social media about the holidays, specifically Halloween in this episode, let's look at the history. Typically, a lot of people look at holidays culturally, but not historically---usually absent of a Biblical view. There is no decision or activity that has NO effect on our souls, whether we feel it or not. This is not a place to get on any particular high horse, but my goal here is to get us thinking about our effectiveness. We can be right but be wrong at the same time. Something we cannot do is pick a soapbox and not apply it across the board. Tyler really wants to have a Hallelujah Night, Josh talks about pretending they weren't home as a kid, and I get a little passionate about Jesus's authority. Next episode, we will talk about Advent, so stay tuned.
