Phoenix Rising FC were back on the field in a preseason double header, first against local lads Valley United FC (we won 5-0) and then against Detroit City FC (2-2). It was behind closed doors but we were there and are excited to share our fan experience with you along with a review of the games!
Our feature story is an interview with a trialist who was training and playing with the team over the last three weeks. His name is Gabriel Claudio and he played center back during his time with the club. He tells us how he got the call up, what it was like when he got here, how it felt when he was on the way to the stadium to play his FIRST professional game, and what Coach Rick Schantz is like behind closed doors. He shares what it was like to play in front of the south end at Wild Horse Pass and lots more! Awesome interview, thank you Gabriel!!
