Chris Nowinski is a former football player at Harvard University and professional wrestler with WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment. After enduring a career-ending head injury, Chris has dedicated his professional life to serving patients and families affected by brain trauma, particularly Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that develops after repeated head injuries. The Concussion Experience podcast shares the real life stories of Concussion Advocates whose lives have been directly impacted as a result of the brain injury they sustained. These inspiring individuals come from all different walks of life and became Concussion Advocates for the purpose of helping others that might be experiencing the same challenges they faced during the recovery process.
