American journalist, author, media executive, and pulitzer prize winner Karen Elliott House joins The 966. Elliott House discusses her recent work, a paper entitled 'Saudi First', for the Belfer Center at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, as well as her experiences traveling to and from Saudi Arabia for decades and her views on Saudi Arabia as an emerging regional power. Elliott House has served as publisher of The Wall Street Journal, former senior vice president of Dow Jones, and on the board of the Rand Corporation. She currently is a senior fellow at the Belfer Center for International Affairs at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

In addition to writing a series of articles on Saudi Arabia for the journal in 2007, Karen is author of the book, On Saudi Arabia: Its People, Past, Religion, Fault Lines - and Future. Recently, she has written several opinion and commentary pieces for the Wall Street Journal on Saudi Arabia and the US-Saudi relationship.
