In this podcast, Chris interviews Jay Cushman, President and Founder of HealthPivots, a healthcare analytics provider.
Jay is trained as a physicist but has been looking at data in the hospice and palliative care segment going back to the 1990’s. In this podcast, Jay shares macro trends he sees in the data going back over these many years taking us to present day. Then Jay shares what he sees where things are headed.
Chris and Jay then end with a fascinating conversation regarding how COVID created a huge challenge from a data standpoint due to the black swan event it was in relation to fairly predictable trends in deaths and other population factors.
This is a great listen chock-full of pearls that Jay has gleaned from the data over the years and that he sees for the future.
This is a great listen for staff, leaders, and Board’s of hospice and palliative care organizations. Join us, this is timely and relevant.
