Fitness expert's viewpoint on working with physical therapists

We discuss how fitness experts and physical therapists can better inform each other and improve care for our clients.
Aaron Hines is a former Collegiate Football player where he played at Lambuth University (NAIA-2004-2006). He played offensive line, as well as, defensive line during his time with the team.
He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2009 with a B.S. in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Exercise Science. He went on to complete his M.S. in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University in 2011.
He has experience in many aspects of health and wellness; including sports specific training, active older adults, orthopedic injury, cardio pulmonary rehabilitation, and balance training.
He spent time at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, FL (2011) during his graduate studies where he worked with multiple patients who were at risk for cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. He also volunteered at the Vanderbilt Dayani Center Serving the community in their Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
Aaron also spent time at Healthways Inc., as a Health Coach. Here he worked with employees of Corporate Business to help ensure the reduction of health care cost and drive employee participation.
Aaron has obtained the following certifications: ACSM- CPT, TRX Suspension Training, NASM- Fitness Nutrition Specialist, CSAC- Certified Speed and Agility Coach and TPI-Level 1.
He now owns and operates Premier Performance Training LLC, located at 1724 Carothers Parkway Suite 600. We work with active adults and athletes.
