In the second installment of The Power of Peace we meet Farah, a Black Muslim woman. Farah is a doctor who is leaning into her creative passions as she starts defining her life’s purpose. She is the co-host of Rooted Black Girls, a visual podcast that pulls in Farah’s intersectional perspective, and founder of Zia East, an apparel line inspired by the African Diaspora.
Farah dispels the notion that we have to choose one niche, while talking us through the internal chatter within most creative’s minds. She also opens up about how she maintains peace and why she believes in the power of community.
