Hatred is manifested in a number of ways. One of them is through acts of RACISM.
Yes, RACISM is now on full display in how the availability and administration, or lack thereof, of the COVID vaccine is occurring within the black and brown communities. Initially, there was this huge push to address the prevalence of vaccine hesitancy within the Black community due to the the plethora of examples of us being utilized as guinea pigs.
Now, it seems that there is some type of sick experimentation underway to determine the lethality of this pandemic, amongst blacks, by denying it to us- those that are suffering the most.
Clinics once filled with predominantly blacks are now being over run by whites traveling from miles to receive a vaccine that addresses a plague once labelled a hoax-by those now standing in line.
YES, RACISM is alive and well!! Regrettably, the extreme and creative ways to which persons will sink in order to exhibit it are too numerous to mention.
"Conundrum" addresses several of the past acts of hatred manifesting as racism. It in no way attempts to identify those listed as the most extreme or cruel. It simply gives concrete examples of abhorrent cruel realities to which persons of color were subjected.
Now, in addition to concerning ourselves with past actions, we have to ensure that we are not being victimized by some sick form of REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY!!!
