Dear Listeners,

Every day, more than 600 people in Canada are diagnosed with cancer and more than 200 die from it. It is very likely that everyone of you has in one way or another had experience with it. It is thus important that both healthcare professionals and the general population are informed about this horrible disease.

I am thus very honoured to have Dr. David J. Stewart on the podcast today. Dr. Stewart is a veteran medical oncologist with over 40 years of experience in the field and as a researcher both in Canada and the United States. He is currently a Professor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa. He is also the author of “A Short Primer On Why Cancer Still Sucks”, an excellent book that tackles the big questions for patients and for doctors.

Sincerely,

Dr. Dimitre
