6. Bad Girl Body: Taking back your pleasure, creativity and eroticism
Manage episode 367428264 series 3488658
When it comes to your relationship to your body, particularly if you happen to own a uterus or identify as a woman, the odds are that your sense of self is infused with a very special kind of toxicity that has lived in the bone marrow of your lineage for many, many generations.
You might be familiar with the idea of the good girl complex - but have you considered your inner bad girl? Your bad girl body is made up of the exiled expressions of the feminine that you’ve likely banished from your lived experience, due to patriarchal shame and fear.
Paying attention to how the good girl has corrupted the true blueprint of your creative, sensual, erotic expression is key to knowing what you need to do to restore and reclaim the parts of yourself that have been disowned.
Today on the podcast, Kate teases apart:
+ The good girl body and the bad girl body
+ The 4 exiled expressions of the feminine: The Mess, The Bitch, The Slut & The WItch
+ What do we lose and what must we grieve when we disown these expressions?
+ How we can begin to welcome our bad girl body back home
+ I’m teaching a free embodiment class on September 22nd called Bad Girl Body. Sign up here!
