From a childhood of great adversity to joining the United States Navy, Ray spent most of his career on SDV (SEAL Delivery Vehicle) Team 2, piloting miniature submarines on long-range dive reconnaissance missions deep under the ocean. He would then go on to serve with the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency), using his skills as a SEAL at the highest level. Ray is now a father, entrepreneur, and TV personality. He also Founded the "CONQUER" program, which has been featured on the History Channel “The Selection,” Discovery Channel “The Ultimate Soldier Challenge” and the BBC “Ultimate Hell Week.” He also works with several charities, specifically the Danny Dietz Memorial Fund, in which Ray was Danny Dietz' mentor.
