Karla, a former paramedic who listened to her inner calling to go on a wandering journey of healing, understanding, connecting, belonging and to rise awareness of the long forgotten lost connections between first nations people and white people.
Bringing back the appreciation of the land we all live on, the understanding of the custodians, going little steps towards building bridges of connection between herself and elders, especially Indigenous women.
Expanding her horizon by listening, learning, sharing and experiencing the culture, spirit, shared stories and life of the Indigenous ancestors of the land.
Diving deeper into the understanding of her own belonging, her own lineage roots of her Scottish ancestors, the land she is born in and their Indigenous roots and the deep appreciation and connection to the land, mother nature and the continuous resilience and passion of connecting to country.
Karla focusses on activism for the land and first nation people, women, custodians, interconnecting foundation in healing, spoken word and the need to heal ourselves.
