In the first part of Episode 005, Paul and Chris discuss BLE MIDI (Bluetooth Low Energy MIDI) which is a newer standard found on Apple Products (iOS and macOS) and there are some solutions for other platforms. They also discuss Sheet Music Scanner which recently added the ability to export to MusicXML and reads PDF files (see links below). In the second part of Episode 005, Paul and Chris (mainly Paul, as Chris was sick and didn’t have much of a voice) visited with John Mlynczak, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Noteflight, a Hal Leonard Company.
