He was on American Idol, has directed worship choirs since he was a teenager, and now Maurice (Mo) Townsend is the real estate developer MoTown Square affordable, senior housing project. To say that this is a passion project is an understatement: the Townsend family have been residents of this neighborhood for decades and Mo started the project with some of his own parcels.
