Generational trauma and generational curses are synonymous terms. Generational trauma can lead to dysfunction that keeps people locked into self-sabotaging patterns and behaviors. These cycles are the basis of generational curses which refer to an energy carried forward over and over until someone consciously and actively breaks the cycle.
Generational poverty is only one of these forms of generational curse. Still, the autumn and the dates surrounding October 31st afford the best opportunities to release negative karma in the case of karmic curses and to break generational cycles of trauma. Fear related attachments, jealousy, and greed attachments are also best resolved in the autumn.
