Ep 78: Enter the Dagorloch // Adventures in a Dead Land

The Empire of Toriacht is wracked by civil war and beset by warlords and famine. Our band of intrepid adventurers set forth on a desperate quest directly into the deadly lands across the wide outer sea. Their goal: To find the lost Emperor, in hopes that his leadership can restore unity and peace to the empire. That is, if he hasn't already turned into a gibbering bloodthirsty monster.
Our cast of characters include:
"Captain" Plank - A Gnomish druid with tremendous panache and terrible luck. A treasure hunter in a previous life, Plank has unwittingly awakened forces that ought forever slumber.
Farfar - A Goliath barbarian, the last of his tribe. Farfar smashes down every obstacle in his way (except that one door, but we don't talk about that).
Virgil - A folksy cleric of Rhadros from the icy north. Haunted by mistakes of his past, Virgil is done with lying.
Haendar - Our Dwarf eldritch knight. He has dreamed his whole life of testing his sword against the evils of the Dagorloch.
Dirty Henry a/k/a Hank - A Halfling rogue. The newest member of the party, Hank is on the run from his past and sees the party as a good chance to escape his pursuers.

WHERE TO START
The best place for new listeners to jump aboard is at the beginning of Chapter VII. Aggressive Negotiations, our latest story arc. To ensure the future of the Empire, the party employs diplomacy and … other tactics. It all begins in Episode 59!
Episode 1 is, of course, another natural place to start. We love those original episodes, but please forgive our less-than-perfect audio quality. It took us a little while to work out all the kinks.
