J. Eustace Wolfington is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has enjoyed a career marked with significant global entrepreneurship and service leadership in the realm of various business enterprises including the automotive industry, for-profit and nonprofit enterprises, education, and philanthropy.
Prior to committing his considerable talent and resources to the production of movies with a moral message, Mr. Wolfington distinguished himself as a pioneer in the automobile retail leasing business. With a background as an owner and operator of a successful Chevrolet dealership in West Philadelphia, he founded Half-A-Car, a Pennsylvania based automotive consulting firm. Over the next 40 years Mr. Wolfington revoluntionzed the retail car industry, implementing his Half-A-Car concept in over 4,000 dealerships worldwide.
Following the sale of the Half-a-Car business in 2000, Eustace has continuing his
entrepreneurial activities as well as making a significant commitment in support of Catholic institutions and charities in the Philadelphia area. To that end, he founded a family office and named it Cabrini Asset Management in King of Prussia, PA. Mr. Wolfington has ten children, thirty three grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In 2005, Eustace pursued a labor of love by underwriting, as an executive producer, the
movie – “Bella” – which was recognized as best picture by the People’s Choice Award,
Toronto Film Festival in 2007. It was praised for its focus on delivering a moral message
suited for movie buffs of all ages.
Mr. Wolfington is a devotee of Mother Cabrini and has committed his time, energy, and
financial resources to producing a movie which will make this relatively unknown legend known to the world. Eustace believes the legacy of Mother Cabrini where she gave of her considerable talent and energy in the service of others, especially the Italian community in the U.S., represents a story worth telling and worthy of emulation by the youth of today, tomorrow, and thereafter. Mr. Wolfington believes that the Italian community can take great pride in the legacy of Mother Cabrini. Furthermore, he believes that spreading the word about the movie, “Cabrini,” and involving members of the Italian American community in promoting it, will help to extend Mother Cabrini’s message in 21st century America - “to spread love throughout the universe, especially to those who are in need of it”.
