Episode 281 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, features an emotional, inspiring an informative interview with Anaheim Ducks Director of Goaltending Sudarshan "Sudsy" Maharaj on his battle with pancreatic cancer.

In the feature interview presented by NHL Sense Arena, presented by Sense Arena, Maharaj catches us up on his incredibly difficult battle after being diagnosed in May 2023 and being given a 20-40 percent chance of survival. From major surgery that removed his gallbladder and parts of his small intestines, pancreas and stomach, as well as 11 rounds of chemotherapy, to having to ask the many goalies he's helped in the NHL to be the pallbearers at his funeral, to announcing he was cancer free in May of this year, and now being back scouting and working with Ducks prospects, Maharaj shares it all in this can't miss interview, including getting back into the goalie development world and how he used lacrosse to help Anaheim goalies improve hand-eye co-ordination.
In our Parents Segment, presented by the Stop It Goaltending U app, we look into a common question about whether your child should play on a good team even if it means not facing many shots, or a bad team that will keep them busy and engaged but maybe not win much -- and does the answer change if we're talking about spring hockey instead of winter?
