In today’s episode, I’m talking to Tyler Skinner – mother of two girls, founder, creative strategist and connector at Women Making Waves - a supportive community that facilitates women's confidence, competence and connectivity both to themselves and others. Tyler has been a women’s advocate since her early 20’s and her vision is to build an inclusive global community of empowered women by connecting female entrepreneurs and inspiring them to make an impact in all aspects of their lives. So, Women Making Waves hosts a variety of virtual and in person collaborative, interactive, and authentic events aiming either inspiration, education or connection. With a goal of sharing one million women’s stories, Tyler hosts the Mishaps, Magic, and Mayhem podcast, where she provides a safe space for all women regardless of age, race, or socio-economic background to show up and show off how they are making waves their own way. In our conversation she tells us about her journey creating this fabulous community, the importance of having a self-care toolbox, and why she believes women are even more powerful together.
