Lessons learned in prison that he now teaches:
It's still hard to be grateful for the experience because it is a painful way of learning and the way you're supposed to learn breaks many more people than it makes
- Starting with the end in mind - where you want to be in the future and what it looks like
- what's urgent vs what's important
- Consistency beats intensity 10x out of 10
what would you like to be different in your life when it comes to health and fitness ?
Then we can determine small steps to create that lifestyle. It's not about changing your body, its about changing your lifestyle, your body is a representation of your lifestyle and genetics meet
- Creating a clear vision, rehearsing it, and being open to different paths to getting there
- I don't care what you don't eat, I care what you do eat
If you get enough good stuff in people, naturally the bad goes down
Mixed Modality Movement Going deep with training, rather than just wide
Once you learn one tool well, it only takes a fraction of a second to maintain it
