How to know if it's working

The scale seems to be the go-to measure for whether or not weight loss is happening. We work so hard and then randomly get on the scale only to find that the number hasn't changed—or worse, it's gone up.
Today, I want to offer new ways to determine whether weight loss is actually happening. The scale is one way, but it's definitely not the only way to know if it's working.
