Yancy Strode was a legendary stride pianist from Denver. Together with Richard Arnold Beattie, composer and lyricist they created a few memorable tracks from 1994 to 1998. Mr. Strode passed away in 2010. Mr. Beattie has remixed one of the classic tracks recorded at Avalanche Studios in the Summer of 1994. The vocal was done on a 1930's vintage ribbon microphone. It brings out the warmth of the Beattie vocal style.
