筆者の大内孝夫さんは、『「音大卒」は武器になる』(2015) で、一躍有名になった。音大や音楽教室をはじめ音楽業界では、いまや「時の人」である。
果たして、音大は崩壊するのか？
それとも、筆者が本書で提案する「音楽教育を救うたった２つのアプローチ」に従えば、日本の音大を救うことができるのだろうか？
評者は、現時点において、日本の音大の未来に対してきわめて悲観的である。ふたつの「音大」で学長を務めた経験からいっても、大内さんのいう「たった２つのアプローチ」だけでは、日本の「音大を救う」ことは到底できない、と私は考えている。
