The heavens are being delightfully gracious to us this week. With the absolute bare minimum of drama, we glide and settle neatly into the second week of September. The only real bump in the road is the retrograde of abundant, gift-giving Jupiter on Monday. And, even that, we can handle it. After all, these mighty, slow-moving planets go retrograde for half of the year anyways. We can totally be laissez-faire about this, darlings. All that’s bound to happen, really, is that the growth we’ve been experiencing in some area of life - be that love, money or travel - is going to slow down a bit so we can integrate. Growth is not linear, after all. It’s one step forward, three steps back, two to the side. We’ve learned this dance before, and we can do so again.

Speaking about dancing, the Sun and Mercury weave together this week, reflecting each other in an intricate twirl of stardust and glitter. In productive Virgo, they bring us a week of getting things done, simply put. Practical, down-to-earth service is what makes our little hearts beat faster.

Uniting together on Wednesday, two days after Jupiter goes retrograde, our purpose and minds come together, creating an eureka moment. After all, Virgo is ruled by Mercury, the thinking and communication planet, meaning that this is one hella intelligent sign. It combines the efficient energies of Earth with the intellectual abilities of Air in a rare hybrid mix. This is also a time to speak up and speak from our own experience. We have a message to share, and it simply must be heard. Constructive criticism and discerning advice are qualities central to Virgo.

The two other aspects we have are the same - same but different. Both Mercury and the Sun flow towards Jupiter in a glowing trine, on Monday and Friday respectively. This brings a welcome boost of positivity and expansive growth in the material sense. Yes, baby! We’re working hard, loving it, and even making some extra dollars. It doesn't get much better than this.
