That's how Ella Evans describes her comedy. She joins Mo this week to discuss how she stretches the familiar, embraces the absurd, and tosses conventional writing wisdom out the window.
Ella Evans is a writer and performer. Her work explores queer life and themes of rural identity and freedom. She is a Channel 4 new writer, and she'll be performing her show Femme Fatigue at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer.
