Chris Panayiotou is currently the Virginia Rush Boys Director of Coaching – Developmental Programs, and has been in that role since 2014. Prior to that he served as the Virginia Rush Boys Director of Coaching in 2022, and as a US Soccer Coached Educator Developer for their Grassroots Licenses. He currently holds his UEFA B, USSF B, C, D National Youth License, Director of Coaching License, USSF Coach Educator License Grassroots and Club Technical Leaders.

Omar has a passion for developing and mentoring intelligent, creative and technically proficient players. He has obtained his USSF B License and is currently coaching the Arlington SA U19 Boys ECNL team. Previously he coached the Arlington SA U13 and U14 ECNL Boys Academy teams, and was a part of the United Soccer Coaches 30-Under-30 Class of 2020-21. He has been able to observe coaches at professional clubs AFC Ajax, FC Utrecht, Telstar FC, Hellerup IK, ENPPI, Benfica FC, DC United, Brisbane Roar FC and Moreton Bay United FC. Finally, he played professionally in Egypt and Australia (Helwan El 3am, Moreton City Excelsior FC, Wynnum Wolves FC) and at the collegiate level for Bryant University and the University of Mary Washington. ______________________
