Words for the Day

I was talking with my father one time about a tough decision that I was facing. He said rather casually that what I needed to do was to put it in the Lord’s hands and let Him tell me what to do. I impatiently responded that it is easier said than done. That is exactly what I have been trying to do. I have prayed and prayed over this decision and one minute I think the Lord wants me to do “X” and the next minute “Y” and the next time “Z”. I said, like I have said one thousand times before, that I wish the Lord would just come down and sit beside me and say, “Son this is what I want you to do.” Or he could just shout it out from heaven for all I care; I want to know the will of God . . . https://www.wordsfortheday.com/2024/08/decisions-2/
