Episode 137
With injuries and inconsistent play, the Wings have been struggling of late - dropping their last 4 games, falling 5+ points outside of the playoff picture. Injuries seem to be on the mend, but the team still needs to figure out how to win the games against easier teams (i.e. Buffalo, Ottawa, Montreal).
With the 8th hardest schedule in the NHL, the Red Wings have a tough road ahead as we get into 2023. Not all bad news though - Jakub Vrana suited up for practice last week for the first time since entering into the NHL Players Assistance Program in October. With Vrana back, we can hope for some consistent offensive production while adding depth to the lineup.
