Vince Ynzunza grew up in Washington State and has been interested in UFOs and the paranormal since he was a child. He is an independent videographer, researcher, historian, and the producer of the YouTube series Pacific NorthWEIRD which chronicles the bizarre happenings and history of the Northwest. He also co-produces the Chehalis Flying Saucer Party which celebrates Kenneth Arnold’s historic 1947 flight out of the airport in Chehalis, WA that resulted in a UFO sighting that kickstarted the modern UFO craze.
The Chehalis Flying Saucer Party, which incorporates multiple fantastic events -including the Northwest Flying Saucer Film Festival - runs this year September 13-14.

Vince visits with Talking Weird to chat about the history of flying saucers in the Northwest: an area that spawned the modern UFO phenomenon with Kenneth Arnold's iconic sighting on June 24, 1947, as well as the infamous Maury Island UFO Incident; a UFO "crash" type incident that pre-dated Roswell, and included the first appearance of the Men in Black.
