Host, Nicole Davison opens up about her journey with anxiety and how she has learned to cope with it.
Throughout her life, she has interacted with many clients, students, and friends who are on all ends of the spectrum of anxiety. Anxiety is different for everyone, some have struggled with it for years while others experience waves of it. Everyone copes differently.
With Nicole, at times, she just needs to get out of her head. It is difficult to escape the little voice in your head in the 21st century with social media’s large presence. She shares moments she has felt alone, and how comments like “get over it” or “calm down” have impacted her.
Nicole sheds a light on her anxiety growing up versus now, and how she copes with it. Through this episode, she aims to help those who experience anxiety recognize that they are not alone. You can do this. You are loved. You are not a burden. You matter. It is okay to ask for help when you need it.
