Repent means to turn yourselves. If you find yourself being drawn back to that thing you have felt sorrowful for, then you have not obtained the strength you need to overcome it. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God and the joy of the Lord is our strength. Continue in these things; continue in the word of God, receiving your daily bread. You will then have obtained what is necessary to overcome what hinders you from being an effectual worker in God. This is true repentance.
