Have you ever allowed your thoughts to wander in the scripture thinking about the Goodness of God? There are multitudes of scriptures that inform us about God’s goodness. Today, we are going to focus on one such verse, Psalm 84:11 which gives us insight into God’s character and His goodness. Here is what God says in Psalm 84:11, “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.” Join Kim in this podcast of Woman at the Well Ministries as she takes us on a journey through the scriptures gleaning the truths found in Psalm 84:11. Join us as we learn that God is our sun and our shield. He gives grace and glory to sinful, flawed, and many times disobedient people, and He doesn’t withhold any good thing from those who follow Him, and are devoted to Him.

“If you want to know the character of God, you've got to partake in the sufferings of his son and of him, for you'll never fully understand who God is until he's clearly God in your heart.”

“Oh, friend, don't lose hope just because the heat is on and you can't see past the step you're standing on. Joy comes in the morning. Let God work out all the things he has for you with his time. Don't get ahead of him. Don't lag behind him, but walk with him.”

“Serve him. If you want big things from God, make big room for him. Shove out the world. Carefully put the right voices around you. Listen for the sweet, still voice of the Holy Spirit as you're being still.”
