This week we discuss Superman Smashes the Klan by Gene Luen Yang, with art by Gurihura, the earliest entry in the DC Graphic Novels for Young Adults (formerly DC Ink) lineup. Join us as we follow an old-school incarnation of Superman (from back when he just leapt tall buildings in a single bound, rather than fly so fast around the Earth he could reverse time!) trying to protect a Chinese-American family from the threat of the not-KKK (but actually it is the KKK)!
Next week will be a minisode, and then we will be reading Amazing Spider-Man (2014) #1-6: The Parker Luck, #5 on the list of bestselling superhero comics of all time! Joining us will be Ben from the Not a Hoax! Not a Dream! podcast. (Check out Melissa and Monte's guest appearance here!)
