Week 4 Day 5
Manage episode 445461913 series 3597093
Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus:
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness, you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

Daily Reading
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my
presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out
your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to
will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Philippians 2:12-13
When one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, he
went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. A woman in that
town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the
Pharisee’s house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume.
As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet
with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and
poured perfume on them. Luke 7:36-38
