First of all, I want to thank you for listening to my podcast! I personally have a blast making them. A ton of people who are not educated when it comes to lifting, go to the gym and do a bunch of random stuff or follow a their favorite YouTube fitness person's training routine. They forget to count individualization of programming along with a lot of other factors that come into play. More important than this, is the fact they let their ego get in the way and they end up injuring themselves due to ego lifting. Form > Weight anytime my friend. I gave a very brief explanation of how to structure your program if you're a newbie (0-6 months of proper lifting experience).
