Chris will be pissed if Pitt loses the game tonight – and mostly because Poni will conveniently turn his back on the Panthers to sport his Syracuse colors. The guys got back into the Cooper Kupp discussion and if the Steelers will take their shot at the big-play receiver. There’s some belief that the Steelers are too stingy to make a play for someone significant like Kupp. Are they more resistant to giving up the draft capital or because of Kupp’s injury history? Should we be rooting for the Rams to lose? KDKA TV legend Bob Pompeani joined the show. Bob doesn’t think Cooper Kupp is reliable enough to use a draft pick on. Does the addition of Kupp give you a shot against some of the elites in the AFC? How would Kupp fit with Russell Wilson? The guys asked Bob if Pitt was a big deal in the 70’s and 80’s when they had some great teams. Pomp predicts a close Pitt win tonight and thinks they will beat SMU next week.
