If you can have mechanical bulls in honky-tonks, why not mechanical elephants in Indian temples? PETA is saving abused elephants by convincing the temples to trade in their sensitive real elephant for a mechanical one. Poorvah Joshipura, director, PETA India tells Emil Guillermo how it works.
